The objectives of the Mandali are:
- To conduct annual Sree Ramanavami Music Festival.
- Encouragement of young talent; many young musicians of promise are introduced during the "Youth Festival" onducted as part of Annual Sree Ramanavami Celebrations.
- Financial aid to indigent Musicians and Artistes.
- To host monthly music concerts and seminars.
- To construct an Auditorium and a Research Library.
- To institute a national award to perpetuate the memory of
Late Sri S.V. Narayanaswamy Rao. This is to be awarded every year to a senior artiste of Classical Music for his / her Lifetime Achievement.
- To setup recording studios.
- To conduct Music classes for the promotion of music.
- To Conduct Musical programmes, festivals of artistes & composers.
- To publish books, Magazines, Periodicals & Literatures in pursuit, promotion & propagation of Carnatic Classical Music.
- To donate or contribute to any charitable institution, endowment or trusts having similar objects.
- To record music & to make it available to the public for propagation of music.
- To arrange lectures, debates & demonstration in music.
- Collect, preserve and publish compositions & books in music.
- Production of cds and cassettes.
- To build a library & archives.
Cultural Endowments
On the suggestions of our well wishers, we have decided to build a Corpus Fund by way of Cultural Endowments from patrons. All patrons will be informed about the activities of the Mandali. The Invitations / Complimentary Passes for the music festivals would be provided every year. A day's Musical programme will be sponsored in the name of the patron during the celebrations. The donations will be deposited in the bank and the interest will be treated as the sponsorship amount.
